Yes, that is correct. We provide individual trauma therapy, support of Critical Incident Stress teams and Management Training as part of a comprehensive approach to caring for your people.
Do you only treat first responders in therapy?
The vast majority of the individual clients are First Responders. JRC has made a decision to prioritize First Responder mental health. This population has distinct challenges and a unique culture that requires timely and appropriate care.
What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a specific therapeutic technique used to assist the client's brain to process painful or traumatic memories. Who are some of your clients?
While respecting their privacy, Jess Ram Consulting Inc. deals with Enforcement and Public Safety organizations at Municipal, Provincial and Federal levels as well as school boards and Health Authorities, along with private sector companies from a variety of industries.
Is counselling covered by insurance?
Consult with your organization's health coverage. Most organizations have allowances for counselling services and request that the employee pay up front and simply submit the official receipt for reimbursement. We do direct bill Medavie Blue Cross for members of the RCMP as well as Veterans Affairs clients.
We are interested in your management training. How long are the sessions?
Most training can be tailored to between one and three days. This is best determined after a needs assessment and gap analysis that we will perform at no cost to your organization.
